We knew money was going to pour in for the GOP and we worried that early it would be spread too thin. When you see the hard numbers you have to feel pretty good that even if Clinton runs unopposed there still could be bank for finishing the job. We are seeing Super PACs that are backing Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz have raised more than double the PAC backing presumptive of the leading Democratic nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton. Priorities USA Action has managed to secure $5 million in the beltway insider term hard commitments, as well as they expects to raise $15 million through the end of June. The PAC is led by prominent Democrats including President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign manager, Jim Messina. The numbers seem great for a candidate running unopposed but alas they are not as Super PACs backing Cruz, Keep the Promise PAC, Keep the Promise PAC I, Keep the Promise PAC II and Keep the Promise PAC III raised more than twice that in just one week. A group of PACs, formed in April, raised $31 million in their first week. The network of PACs all support Cruz allowing donors to have more control over how their money is used this is so out of the box it an unprecedented strategy. This seems like a game changer not only for Hillary but for the others in the GOP side.
